NGIN Quantum O2CS is the answer to the next generation of rating and charging systems for Communication Service Providers (CSPs), as envisioned by TM Forum’s TAM Framework and specified by 3GPP. NGIN Quantum O2CS is a key component in any BSS ecosystem. It receives inputs from Customer Information Management, Order Management, P&S Catalog and from the network, while also providing outputs (via CDR) to Billing, Business Reporting and Campaign Management.

 

This solution can also originate customer modification requests and fulfillment requests. With the NGIN Quantum O2CS, CSPs will have the ability to unify those rating and charging silos that are common practice in most players and benefit from the differentiation that this unification will provide. By shifting the business model from customer type (prepaid, post-paid, IPTV, corporate…) to product definition, mobile operators will be able to:

Account relationships for modeling hierarchies and social networks

  • Establishing account relationships allows any service to be charged into assets belonging to related accounts.
  • Also, the relationship can be used to differentiate tariffs between its members.
